Our new medical record system allows you to access whatever you like! Your Spectacle Prescription can be found in your personal portal along with your patient record. You can access them here:

Texting Software
We have updated our texting software! We have partnered with Solution Reach and we are able to text back and forth with you. With this software, you will be able to receive appointment reminders, confirm appointments, get glasses and contacts updates, or even send us any questions you might have. Just shoot us a text at the same number you are used to calling 740-425-7000.
Exam Hours
Dr. Zach is now located at the Barnesville Vision Center five days a week! He and Dr. Melissa welcome all of the patients of the Eye Care Center of Monroe County to our newly-remodeled, state-of-the-art practice located at 177 E Main Street, Barnesville, OH 43713. He has retained all charts, digital equipment, and records for the exams performed by himself, Dr. Christen, Dr. Miller, and Dr. McDonald in Woodsfield at the ECCOMC.

Scleral Contact Lenses
Scleral Lenses are used to provide a round clear surface to help restore vision to eyes that are irregular in shape due to disease or injury. These can also be used to restore hydration to extremely dry eyes, to reconcile high prescriptions and fix irregular astigmatism.

Clinical Serves
Optical Perimetry
Ocular Perimetry or the "Visual Field Test" allows us to map out the total of what your eye can and cannot see. Often people develop blind spots and do not even know. This test allows us to diagnose blindness early so that we can prevent the spreading fo the issue causing the blind spot. In 2024 we upgraded our perimetry system to the Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 (HFA3). If you have ever had your visual field measured, you may remember a long and boring test. Our new HFA3 allows us to decrease testing time to under 4 minutes. With older technology, this test takes 8-12 minutes on average.
